General terms and conditions

Please read so that you fully understand the following provisions, which are intended to define the general terms and conditions of sale on the website: soniaisabelle.cahereafter Sonia Isabelle, visual artist.

Use of the website soniaisabelle.ca is governed by these terms and conditions and your use of this website constitutes your agreement to abide by these terms and conditions which apply to all sales made through this website.

Definitions

Vendor (artist) : Sonia Isabelle

Buyer : any natural person wishing to purchase a work offered for sale by Sonia Isabelle on the website soniaisabelle.ca. The sale of works or products derived from works is open to persons with the legal capacity to contract under the applicable law.

Works and products derived from works : any work of art or derivative work presented on the site soniaisabelle.ca

Prices

The prices displayed on the soniaisabelle.ca are in Canadian dollars (CAD). All prices include taxes. Customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Payment

The buyer can pay using PayPal or a credit card.

The price is payable in full in a single instalment at the time of ordering. All orders are payable in Canadian dollars. Sonia Isabelle reserves the right to modify its prices at any time and without notice.

Bank details (credit card) are encrypted during the transaction (SSL technology).

Mistakes

In the event that a product is presented with errors (e.g. price or description), we reserve the right to cancel any orders that may have been placed. If your credit card has already been charged, we will credit your card for the full amount paid.

Delivery

Shipped artworks are not framed, unless otherwise specified. Artworks or related products will be packaged in such a way as to protect them during transport.

Delivery will be made to the address indicated on the order form.

Order processing time varies from 3 to 5 working days.

Shipping to Canada is included in the price. For other destinations, the cost of shipping will be added to the price of the work indicated on the product sheet.

It is possible to pick up a work at the artist's studio in Les Cèdres, Québec.

The buyer will be able to track his parcel using a tracking number that the seller will send him by e-mail.

Compliance with delivery deadlines and the preservation of the artwork during delivery are the responsibility of the carrier. Consequently, no claim for compensation of any kind whatsoever may be made by the purchaser. Sonia Isabelle in the event of delayed delivery or non-delivery.

Returns and refunds

If the artwork is damaged in transit, it can be returned to the seller. The buyer must contact the seller within 3 days of receipt. The return must be made no later than 7 days after receipt. The buyer will be reimbursed for the cost of the work and the initial delivery charges once the work has been received. Return shipping costs are the exclusive responsibility of the buyer.

The work or derivative of a work must be returned in its original packaging and, in the case of original works, with the accompanying certificate of authenticity.

Certain types of merchandise cannot be returned. Items marked FINAL SALE cannot be returned.

Downloadable items

• To complete your return, we need a receipt or proof of purchase.
• Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or is missing parts for reasons that are not due to an error on our part.
• Any item returned more than 7 days after delivery.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to inform you that we have received your returned item. We'll also let you know whether or not your refund has been approved.

If your request is accepted, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within a few days.

Refund

To return your product, send it by mail to the following address: 988 chemin du Fleuve, Les Cèdres, Qc J7T 1B6.

You are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

The delivery time of the exchanged product may vary depending on where you live.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may want to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive the returned item.

Modification of terms and conditions

Sonia Isabelle reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Any changes to this soniaisabelle.caany other information, such as terms of use, legal notices or the like, will take precedence over past indications. Sonia Isabelle reserves the right to permanently cease or temporarily interrupt online activities relating to this website without prior notice. By using this website, you waive any and all recourse whatsoever against Sonia Isabelle.

Responsibilities

By using this site, you assume any equipment repairs you may require to connect to this site. In addition, soniaisabelle.ca is not liable for any damages arising from the use of this site.

All elements appearing on the site are protected by copyright, trademark law and all other intellectual property rights. Under no circumstances may the buyer use, copy, reproduce, modify or distort the work or its elements, including on the Internet, without the artist's prior written authorization.
