I think married life is a lot like the couple I had the pleasure of observing on the water near my home. We embark on a wonderful adventure together, and even if life sometimes throws us for a loop, if we know how to adjust, the journey is worth it.

I watched this couple from the moment they approached the pier until they were sailing one behind the other. To me, what they radiated was a harmonious, calm couple, as much as the canal they were sailing on that day.
