Bratislava was a quiet city with few visitors, at least when I went there. I was admiring the architecture around me when, in the distance, I heard rhythmic percussive sounds. Soon, the sounds were coming closer, accompanied by joyful shouts. At the end of the street, young people approached, smiling and so full of energy they were contagious. Within minutes, the street was filled with curious, now smiling, observers.

At the sight of this scene, I feel the vibrations in my stomach again. No one was unmoved by this original promotion of a school looking to sign up new adepts.
